The Severo Ibon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes, Baldomero Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLATHU and the Melbourne 007 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Baldomero Garcia got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match, Clark Connolly tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severo Ibon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to CLATHU getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Denis Bastiaro hit a great ball. Gregg Garing kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Anastasio Frans got a free kick in the 24th minute. Severo Ibon was a little too slow when Clark Connolly got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg Severo Ibon managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Melbourne 007's Brook Yard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brook Yard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Severo Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Melbourne 007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Freeman to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fleming Benton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52nd play minutes Fleming Benton shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Severo Ibon and just under the crossbar into goal. When CLATHU's Denis Bastiaro in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Severo Ibon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 minutes, Armando Fernanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLATHU and the Melbourne 007 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Fleming Benton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Ibon. CLATHU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fleming Benton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Brook Yard kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Frans during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Frans to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Brook Yard notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of CLATHU's Severo Ibon. Severo Ibon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 minutes, Fleming Benton made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Severo Ibon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fleming Benton went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Jasmine Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Bastiaro in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Melbourne 007 fully deserved thier win.
