Jasmine Kuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Sengrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Sengrat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasmine Kuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Lorenzo Rumaldo's late challenge caught a Melbourne 007's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Rumaldo helped the player get up and apologised. Lorenzo Rumaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Brook Yard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melbourne 007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edmund Bower got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brook Yard. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fleming Benton in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Vermudo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fleming Benton took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Vermudo. Casimiro Vermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Adolfo Sengrat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasmine Kuch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 41 minutes into the game, Melbourne 007's Fleming Benton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Vermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Edmund Bower's late challenge caught a Monky FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Brendan Rennie got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brook Yard. After the first half Melbourne 007 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fleming Benton got free with Casimiro Vermudo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eusebio Elija hit a great ball. The long shot by Nash Walsh in the 55th minute really tested Casimiro Vermudo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Monky FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bartolo Nafarroa hit a great ball. Brook Yard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Casimiro Vermudo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Gergori. After a rather tough play, Monky FC's Hector Goi got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nash Walsh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melbourne 007's supporters rose to their feet, but Nash Walsh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Vermudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Sengrat in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nash Walsh hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Adolfo Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Sengrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasmine Kuch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Melbourne 007's Edmund Bower got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Melbourne 007 defense, Nicolas Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasmine Kuch. The Melbourne 007 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasmine Kuch should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Nafarroa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jasmine Kuch. Melbourne 007's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Melbourne 007's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
