PS Gunung Sindur's Djati Sujarwadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Connolly in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Rusty Freeman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melbourne 007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PS Gunung Sindur the free kick. The supporters of PS Gunung Sindur booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rusty Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melbourne 007 made a substitution. Ryan Atkin replaced Clark Connolly. In the 11th match minute, PS Gunung Sindur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yonas Simanungkalit to maneuver through the defense. When Nash Walsh came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nash Walsh couldn't finish the play. Brook Yard struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Djati Sujarwadi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melbourne 007. In the 18th minute Ryan Atkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djati Sujarwadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Melbourne 007's Brook Yard in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PS Gunung Sindur's goalie prevented a goal. Djati Sujarwadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fleming Benton in the 25th minute of play. Djati Sujarwadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brook Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fleming Benton sped through PS Gunung Sindur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Djati Sujarwadi. After 41 played minutes PS Gunung Sindur got a freekick which was hit by Ebieth Suryadinata. Djati Sujarwadi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fleming Benton's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ponco Gutawa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Melbourne 007's Fleming Benton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Ryan Atkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jasmine Kuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponco Gutawa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kane Kennewell charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kane Kennewell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by Kane Kennewell. Brook Yard in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Djati Sujarwadi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68th minute, Ebieth Suryadinata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Fleming Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Djati Sujarwadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fleming Benton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, PS Gunung Sindur's Djati Sujarwadi got control of the ball when Brook Yard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Djati Sujarwadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fleming Benton, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the PS Gunung Sindur defense, Fleming Benton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Djati Sujarwadi. The PS Gunung Sindur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djati Sujarwadi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Atkin in the 87th minute of play forced PS Gunung Sindur's goalkeeper Djati Sujarwadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ebieth Suryadinata fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Gunung Sindur's protests and gave Ebieth Suryadinata a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes PS Gunung Sindur got a freekick which was hit by Ebieth Suryadinata. Djati Sujarwadi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nash Walsh. 92 minutes into the game, Fleming Benton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Djati Sujarwadi. Fleming Benton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The PS Gunung Sindur fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Melbourne 007 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
