Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Cesar Jenaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Rosendo Checa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. CLATHU's Severo Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Chago in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the CLATHU defense, Cesar Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Ibon. The CLATHU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Ibon should have stopped the shot. CLATHU's Severo Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Jenaro in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Jenaro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Ibon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Mark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Sasoin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Birjaio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodolfo Mark came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by CLATHU's Denis Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Denis Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Carmelo Llin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLATHU's protests and gave Carmelo Llin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Carmelo Llin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Haroldo Atarrabi replaced Victor Chago. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Bastiaro to make the kick off. Rodolfo Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Haroldo Atarrabi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Severo Ibon to make any attempt to save it. 58 minutes into the game, Amancio Totakoxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLATHU the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Alvarado de Mar del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Totakoxe to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, CLATHU's Primitivo Birjaio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cesar Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Ibon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Sasoin during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CLATHU getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Javier Sasoin hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Honorio Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Javier Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to CLATHU getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Baldomero Garcia hit a great ball. CLATHU's Severo Ibon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CLATHU from getting a goal against them.
