Eilert Østmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fleming Benton's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Melbourne 007 from getting a goal against them. Untte BK's Eilert Østmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Connolly in the 16th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Untte BK's goalkeeper Eilert Østmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melbourne 007 were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Untte BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ben Bower took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Brook Yard managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Brook Yard hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when Untte BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Mørk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Untte BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øivind Ege to maneuver through the defense. When Fleming Benton came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Melbourne 007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fleming Benton couldn't finish the play. Clark Connolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eilert Østmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clark Connolly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fleming Benton was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Brook Yard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Untte BK's Eilert Østmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Connolly came free, but Eilert Østmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ben Bower hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Marius Mørk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasmine Kuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eilert Østmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fleming Benton in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Untte BK's Eilert Østmo got control of the ball when Fleming Benton tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Eilert Østmo managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Melbourne 007's Fleming Benton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Melbourne 007's Ben Bower to fire away a dangerous shot which Eilert Østmo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Melbourne 007 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gregg Garing hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Melbourne 007's Brook Yard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eilert Østmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eilert Østmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Connolly in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Mørk in the 93rd minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Mørk in the 96th minute of play. Melbourne 007's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
