Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denis Bastiaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Åke Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Sasoin in the 3rd minute of play. If Jack Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Björling came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CLATHU's Baldomero Garcia. But to his dismay, Baldomero Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 21st match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Frans to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Frans. If Jack Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Bastiaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Baldomero Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Åke Björling. Motala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Javier Sasoin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Björling. Motala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Sasoin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Sasoin in the 41st minute of the match. Javier Sasoin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Björling. Åke Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Baldomero Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Åke Björling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anastasio Frans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Åke Björling firmly grabbed it by the left post. Åke Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th match minute, Motala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Uggstedt to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Åke Björling made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Javier Sasoin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Åke Björling, 0-7. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Bastiaro in the 71st minute of the match. Åke Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Sasoin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motala's Åke Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Bastiaro in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Baldomero Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Motala got a freekick which was hit by Dick Danielsson. 84 minutes into the match, Motala's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Bastiaro came free, but Åke Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Björling came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CLATHU's Baldomero Garcia. But to his dismay, Baldomero Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 91st minute, Javier Sasoin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Åke Björling was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. CLATHU's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
