Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Berggren to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Arne Lång during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per-Arne Lång hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Eliézer Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia B.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave spikarna the free kick. The supporters of spikarna booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfred Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Erik Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viktor Blomberg. Erik Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Erik Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Viktor Blomberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Erik Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Lång in the 34th minute of play. The spikarna fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when spikarna's Walter Asklöv looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Academia B.F. made a substitution. Artur Matos replaced Paulo Eger. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Paulista. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Lindström in the 60th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia B.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konrad Lindström was slow to take the kick. During this time spikarna's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Konrad Lindström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belmiro Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 66 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Marco Aurelio. 68 minutes in the game Konrad Lindström got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Walter Asklöv took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Godoi. Belmiro Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Academia B.F.'s Erik Pereira in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Viktor Blomberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Pereira in the 86th minute of play. Walter Asklöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Belmiro Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of spikarna booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball.
