In the 40th minute Gustaw Marosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Tscherner in the 44th minute of the match.
Boleslaw Drozdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Pereira in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gustaw Marosz managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1909 Tarnovia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Marosz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Tscherner in the 85th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1909 Tarnovia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
