In the 10th match minute, Real Matrei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Nordgren to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Nordgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Ribeiro having to interfere. With a little luck, Fala Sério FC's Alexsandro Ribeiro got control of the ball when Andy Lång tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaj Pilblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Andy Lång hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Mauro Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fala Sério FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Real Matrei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Berglund to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Real Matrei FC defense, Mauro Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaj Pilblad. The Real Matrei FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaj Pilblad should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tomas Nordgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Matrei FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Nordgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Enrique Fernandes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Kaj Pilblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alexsandro Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Matrei FC's Tomas Nordgren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus Fernandez made a kick off. Cássio da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Real Matrei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Cássio da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Berglund during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 minutes, Andy Lång mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Matrei FC and the Fala Sério FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andy Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Mauro Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro do Nascimento. Matheus Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kaj Pilblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaj Pilblad having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Isac Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Nordgren came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Real Matrei FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Nordgren couldn't finish the play. Tomas Nordgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexsandro Ribeiro having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Carlos Augusto Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Fala Sério FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Matrei FC throughout the match.
