The supporters of FC Anderlecht Huachipato booed when FC Dezassete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gatis Caca-Rato didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Mesa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermano Sales saved FC Dezassete from getting behind. When Viriato Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dezassete's protests and gave Viriato Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Peixoto. In the 15th minute, Honorato Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Anderlecht Huachipato defense, Flávio Jordão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Livingstone. The FC Anderlecht Huachipato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Livingstone should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariano Buzeta to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Flávio Jordão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dezassete's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Jesus Bueno was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Anderlecht Huachipato's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Anderlecht Huachipato's corner Mario Jesus Bueno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hermano Sales quite easily take care of the ball. Hermano Sales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quim Escalante, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Felippe Gorosito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hermano Sales came out and tried to block the shot, but Felippe Gorosito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Luciano Mesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hermano Sales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felipe Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Jordão in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Flávio Jordão made the kick off in the second half. If Viriato Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Torcato Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dezassete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Anderlecht Huachipato the free kick. Torcato Caetano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Flávio Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC Dezassete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Jordão couldn't finish the play. Lili Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Felipe Livingstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gatis Caca-Rato's late challenge caught a FC Anderlecht Huachipato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gatis Caca-Rato helped the player get up and apologised. Gatis Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Flávio Jordão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
