Felippe Gorosito hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Chabier Belon came free, but Felipe Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Alonzo Venegas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Froylan Chagavia, 1-0. Felipe Livingstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Froylan Chagavia was a little too slow when Luciano Mesa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Alonzo Venegas's late challenge caught a Atletico Aragua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Chabier Belon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Livingstone was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felipe Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarin Alberete in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerico Bazquez. Froylan Chagavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Venegas in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chabier Belon made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Gorosito in the 52nd minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Froylan Chagavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benja Belmonte charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 61st minute Cordarin Alberete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th play minute Chabier Belon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felipe Livingstone. 4-1. Froylan Chagavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Gorosito in the 74th minute of play. Chabier Belon kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Chabier Belon took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Livingstone. Felipe Livingstone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsoko Queipo in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Felipe Livingstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Livingstone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chabier Belon in the 95th minute. Atletico Aragua FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
