In the 14th minute Florencio Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Amor in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, MARTINETA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Gabino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca do Nascimento in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Bertin saved MARTINETA from getting behind. If Marcos Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas de Queirós hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Wágner do Valle got a free kick in the 29th minute. With an all-out effort, Sipo EC's Silvestre Bertin threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuca do Nascimento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardino Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ernani Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Bernardino Niva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sipo EC's Ernani Cerezo. Ernani Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Niva in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernani Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Douglas de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sipo EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARTINETA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Douglas de Queirós got a free kick in the 44th minute. Silvestre Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca do Nascimento in the 81st minute of the match. MARTINETA's Silvestre Bertin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca do Nascimento in the 84th minute of play.
