Miloš Kerkez charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Donato Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Kovács's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With his leg Donato Furlan managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when TUSE's Kázmér Kocsis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute Nuno Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Béla Medgyesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, TUSE's Patrik Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gábor Kárpáthy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 57 played minutes TUSE got a freekick which was hit by Gábor Kárpáthy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Carlos Pontes during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Pontes. Béla Medgyesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Zé Roberto Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Mátyás Gácsi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The long shot by Erik Amorim in the 83rd minute really tested Béla Medgyesi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Mochila FC booed when TUSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Szigethy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Béla Medgyesi. TUSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 87th minute, João Carlos Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Mochila FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TUSE throughout the match.
