After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Dragoş Nica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Kossakowski came out of the goal and Dragoş Nica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th match minute, Rova Rosiori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Sava to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Newcastle United's Juliusz Milko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionel Prisecaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newcastle United reached it. The audience was convinced that Dragoş Nica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kajetan Kossakowski was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Kajetan Kossakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Gherasim in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Rova Rosiori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Cămătaru to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Dorin Codru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kajetan Kossakowski. Dorin Codru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Rova Rosiori's Dragoş Nica in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Jestrimski to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Rova Rosiori's Dragoş Nica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kajetan Kossakowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Janiczek to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Dragoş Nica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Kossakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Nica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Nica in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Kossakowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aron Gherasim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Kossakowski having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Aron Gherasim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rova Rosiori's zone, Juliusz Milko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionel Prisecaru came out of the goal and Juliusz Milko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rova Rosiori were furious when Ilie Răducan was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rova Rosiori fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Ionel Prisecaru had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Juliusz Milko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Barnaba Bentkowski with Juliusz Milko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Aron Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kajetan Kossakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Gherasim scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kajetan Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Gherasim in the 71st minute of play. Aron Gherasim succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Kajetan Kossakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Gherasim, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Teodor Sava fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rova Rosiori's protests and gave Teodor Sava a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Zbigniew Kalinowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionel Prisecaru skillfully saved the ball. When Rova Rosiori's Aron Gherasim in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kajetan Kossakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Gherasim, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, George Cînu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rova Rosiori's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Wlodzimierz Siwy took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ionel Prisecaru to make any attempt to save it. Kajetan Kossakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Gherasim in the 97th minute of play. Rova Rosiori's George Cînu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Rova Rosiori players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
