Lucas Ixaka scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Berse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Lucas Berse made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Lucas Ixaka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juniors FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C.CHUÍ the free kick. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play.
