Cristiano Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. Montevideo's Giovani Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The S.C.CHUÍ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The wind increased when Almir de Sena made the kick off in the second half. Montevideo's Almir de Sena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.C.CHUÍ. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Laerte Barreto got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Almir de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Prata. S.C.CHUÍ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The supporters of Montevideo booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes, Montevideo's Almir de Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Prata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo reached it. In the 89th minute Natanael Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Xavier got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th match minute, S.C.CHUÍ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Xavier to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S.C.CHUÍ's Cristiano Prata got control of the ball when Almir de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl Freire's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
