Pangarés FC's Rony Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Berse in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Juniors FC's Anibal Ruy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anibal Ruy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juniors FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anibal Ruy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Juniors FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Natã Luz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Octavio Fidele to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute, Antonio Fiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Falcão Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pangarés FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, Juniors FC's Rodrigo Gau made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rony Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44thth minute of the game Rodrigo Gau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pangarés FC's Rony Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Gau made a kick off. Juniors FC's Octavio Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Prestes in the 52nd minute of play. Rodrigo Gau took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony Antunes. Rony Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Rodrigo Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rony Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pangarés FC's Rony Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pangarés FC from getting a goal against them. Ciro Mendonça was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, one of Pangarés FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 66 minutes into the match, Guto Machado notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Juniors FC's Octavio Fidele. Octavio Fidele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Federico Kradi in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pangarés FC's Guga Félix. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pangarés FC! When Gervasio Macario came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Macario couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute of the match, Rodrigo Gau got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rony Antunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guto Machado's late challenge caught a Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Gau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-4 to the left of a surprised Rony Antunes 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Gau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juniors FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pangarés FC the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Rodrigo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rony Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rony Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Kradi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Guto Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Antunes having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Gau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Antunes. Pangarés FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Gau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. When the match was over Juniors FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pangarés FC throughout the match.
