Rodrigo Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Osvaldinho Perez made a huge save. With a little luck, Pangarés FC's Osvaldinho Perez got control of the ball when Rodrigo Gau tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Lucas Berse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pangarés FC's Jânio Prestes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Suarez, made in the 16th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Lucas Berse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvaldinho Perez. The goal made the score 1-0. Rodrigo Gau came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldinho Perez could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Guga Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pangarés FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juniors FC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Pangarés FC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Félix. Rodrigo Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Fiz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pangarés FC's Osvaldinho Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Pangarés FC from getting a goal against them. Osvaldinho Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Berse in the 35th minute. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gervasio Macario hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Falcão Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Fidele. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Fidele should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Berse made a kick off. Rodrigo Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Osvaldinho Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Pangarés FC got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Prestes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Berse in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Perez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd match minute, Pangarés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Félix to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Gau in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Berse came free, but Osvaldinho Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes Pangarés FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Suarez who took care of the corner kick. Juniors FC's Antonio Suarez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldinho Perez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Pangarés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Berse scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldinho Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Berse went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juniors FC fully deserved thier win.
