Seleykos Sklavenitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Cebo Morejon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seleykos Sklavenitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Olimpia's Toli Buron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkeides Touchakis in the 22nd minute of play. Timos Karahalios kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Apsyrtos Papadelias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toli Buron having to make a save. With a little luck, Club Olimpia's Toli Buron got control of the ball when Thanos Fotopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Isias Gorbin hit a great ball. Club Olimpia's Toli Buron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpia from getting a goal against them. Seleykos Sklavenitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isias Gorbin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Apsyrtos Papadelias came free, but Toli Buron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Unione Sportiva getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nessos Koulaxizis hit a great ball.

Nessos Koulaxizis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambros Kaloxylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Apsyrtos Papadelias came free, but Toli Buron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Olimpia's Toli Buron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Fotopoulos in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Club Olimpia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Unione Sportiva side.
