Albert Záruba kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dušan Janičkovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mannie Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Franco Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Empate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dušan Janičkovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mannie Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mannie Abella in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Janičkovič saved FC DAC 1904 from getting behind. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Mannie Abella sped through FC DAC 1904's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dušan Janičkovič. Dušan Janičkovič was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mannie Abella in the 47th managed to get into a good position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dušan Tobiarčík was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC DAC 1904's zone, Franco Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dušan Janičkovič came out of the goal and Franco Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dušan Tobiarčík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, FC DAC 1904's goal looked a bit too open when Tiadoro Abadia came free, but Dušan Janičkovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dušan Janičkovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mannie Abella in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Deportivo Empate's Franco Abascal made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dušan Janičkovič was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dušan Janičkovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Abascal in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mannie Abella in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Janičkovič saved FC DAC 1904 from getting behind. Tiadoro Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dušan Janičkovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dušan Janičkovič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mannie Abella in the 87th minute. Ján Štrausz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mannie Abella might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dušan Janičkovič. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mannie Abella ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes FC DAC 1904 got a freekick which was hit by Dušan Tobiarčík. Deportivo Empate played a much better game than FC DAC 1904 and deserved their victory. The FC DAC 1904 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
