Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Txanton started the match with the kick off. Almiro Benevides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Santio in the 3rd minute of the match. Cornelio Santio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Benevides having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, BAIRES's Abelardo Ermengol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almiro Benevides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almiro Benevides was a little too slow when Abelardo Ermengol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Leo Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Leite in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Abelardo Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAIRES's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almiro Benevides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Ermengol. The supporters of BAIRES booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. BAIRES's Leo Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antero Rebocho in the 37th minute of play. Jose Quintan's late challenge caught a Stars Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Jose Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Infante, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cornelio Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, BAIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Santio to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Antero Rebocho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BAIRES's Leo Gaskon. Leo Gaskon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Antero Rebocho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Leite to make the kick off. Cornelio Santio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Amado Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 83rd play minute Amado Leite came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Gaskon. 2-3. After 85 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Txanton. Cornelio Santio got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to BAIRES getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cornelio Santio hit a great ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Amado Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stars Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to BAIRES getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abelardo Ermengol hit a great ball.
