Eugenio Garci hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The Yalapa fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Yalapa's Anier Eudoxio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute Marco Gaston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Janičkovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dušan Janičkovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Eudoxio in the 17th minute of the match. Dušan Janičkovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Gaston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes FC DAC 1904 got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Košť. Dušan Janičkovič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Eudoxio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match Silvano Resto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dušan Janičkovič skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Vlastimil Grman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DAC 1904's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yalapa the free kick. A collision led to FC DAC 1904 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vlastimil Grman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Eudoxio in the 27th minute of play forced FC DAC 1904's goalkeeper Dušan Janičkovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Padro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dušan Janičkovič read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Anier Eudoxio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dušan Janičkovič. Dušan Janičkovič dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, FC DAC 1904's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eudoxio came free, but Dušan Janičkovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Eudoxio in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Janičkovič saved FC DAC 1904 from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Martin Stohl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Eudoxio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Eudoxio in the 54th minute of play forced FC DAC 1904's goalkeeper Dušan Janičkovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes FC DAC 1904 got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Tittel. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Silvano Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yalapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dušan Janičkovič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, FC DAC 1904's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eudoxio came free, but Dušan Janičkovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Bohdan Tiamač came free, but Everardo Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bohdan Tiamač, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC DAC 1904's Dušan Janičkovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eudoxio in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC DAC 1904's zone, Silvano Resto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dušan Janičkovič came out of the goal and Silvano Resto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC DAC 1904's Dušan Janičkovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eudoxio in the 71st minute of play. Yalapa's Everardo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bohdan Tiamač in the 73rd minute of play. Dušan Janičkovič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Eudoxio in the 75th minute of play. During the 76th minute of the match Vlastimil Grman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vlastimil Grman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vlastimil Grman hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dušan Janičkovič didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. If Marco Gaston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Dušan Janičkovič managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Yalapa's Anier Eudoxio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC DAC 1904 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Martin Stohl hit a great ball. Yalapa played a much better game than FC DAC 1904 and deserved their victory. The FC DAC 1904 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
