Eulalio Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Abraão in the 24th minute of the match. Eulalio Weather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Argoitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 29th playminute. Flavinho Abraão took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Weather. Eulalio Weather dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 38th minute, Encarale a la gordita's Teobaldo Orlanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Fabiano Mesquita. Luís Fabiano Mesquita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. 46 minutes into the game, Encarale a la gordita's Sergio Lekubegi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavinho Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. If Narciso Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luís Fabiano Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Saturnino Padro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encarale a la gordita's protests and gave Saturnino Padro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Encarale a la gordita's Eulalio Weather proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Encarale a la gordita from getting a goal against them. José Carlos Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Argoitz in the 74th minute of play. When Luiz Eduardo Alves fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Alves a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Orlanda. The Encarale a la gordita fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Encarale a la gordita's Narciso Argoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
