In the 10th minute Witalis Jaroch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Witalis Jaroch sped through Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Fabiano Mesquita. Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Raflewski in the 17th minute of play. Pedrão Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bartlomiej Wykowski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Hamílton Melo got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Witalis Jaroch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartlomiej Wykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Witalis Jaroch put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Fabiano Mesquita. Luís Fabiano Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juliusz Wisniewski went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luís Fabiano Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Jaroch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Witalis Jaroch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Witalis Jaroch hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Abandon All Hope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Kon to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Flavinho Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Raflewski came free, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Walicki in the 47th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Abandon All Hope were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavinho Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Abandon All Hope's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Witalis Jaroch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Abandon All Hope's Lukasz Walicki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fabiano Mesquita. That made the score 1-6 after 75 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Walicki in the 78th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Otávio Antunes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Fabiano Mesquita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Witalis Jaroch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 84 minute of play. Abandon All Hope's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
