Luís Fabiano Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Pedrão Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Firme having to interfere. Mauro Sayveon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Jonas Remicio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Amapola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Remicio couldn't finish the play. Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Sayveon in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sayveon came free, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fabiano Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Sayveon went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amapola had played much better football throughout.
