In the 2nd minute Melchor Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taio Elias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Emilio Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cementerio Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U.D. Mancini the free kick. Emilio Maureo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benjamin Romero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U.D. Mancini protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benjamin Romero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, U.D. Mancini's supporters rose to their feet, but Galeno Vuelta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calvino Lozano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Rico's late challenge caught a U.D. Mancini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Rico helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Cementerio Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Rico to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cementerio Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
