The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AC Roma's Donato Porro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Bieito in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Francesco Di Rocco got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Bieito in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Porro saved AC Roma from getting behind. Desiderio Bieito struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Donato Porro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Mukenio. Donato Porro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mukenio's Desiderio Bieito. But to his dismay, Desiderio Bieito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Donato Porro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Porro having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Deportivo Mukenio's Desiderio Bieito made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Porro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francesco Di Rocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Desiderio Bieito made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Anthony Di Gregorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Porro having to interfere. Apolo Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Donato Porro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Porro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Deportivo Mukenio's Ruben Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Di Rocco in the 62nd minute of play. Urbano Eguzki's late challenge caught a AC Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Urbano Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Di Rocco came free, but Ruben Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when AC Roma's Francesco Di Rocco fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Mukenio's Desiderio Bieito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Porro. That made the score 0-4 after 73 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Desiderio Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Alfonso Anastasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Deportivo Mukenio got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Ladio. In the 80th minute of the match Ciro Orlandi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Benvido showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Urbano Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Deportivo Mukenio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Tiso to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Mukenio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
