Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) AC Roma's Francesco Di Rocco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Volli Elts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Roma's Donato Porro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tõnis Aug's late challenge caught a AC Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tõnis Aug helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, JULM C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tõnis Aug to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Volli Eltmaa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Porro. Volli Eltmaa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emilio Di Fazio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, AC Roma's Donato Porro got control of the ball when Volli Elts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tõnis Aug was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in JULM C.F. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for AC Roma. Fabrizio Di Silvio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rein Püss. 1-1. Alfonso Anastasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rein Püss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Francesco Di Rocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Püss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ciro Orlandi hit a great ball. Emilio Di Fazio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Villu Suurkaev came free, but Donato Porro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rein Püss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Di Rocco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Volli Elts notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of AC Roma's Donato Porro. Donato Porro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volli Elts was the one to do the kick off. Donato Porro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volli Eltmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Volli Elts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Porro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes, JULM C.F.'s Eldur Ani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Porro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JULM C.F. reached it. If Volli Eltmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Porro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volli Eltmaa in the 90th minute of play. AC Roma's Donato Porro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volli Elts in the 91st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the JULM C.F. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
