Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celsinho Bittencourt started the match with the kick off. If Celsinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jannis Callewaert kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Minion Mim got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Rouckeloos. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen De Muysere in the 18th minute of play. With 28 minutes on the clock, Yannik Leenknecht commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With his leg Eliseu Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Minion Mim's Mattias Valckeners fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseu Melo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jannis Callewaert sent off a good shot on target. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter De Boeck in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jannis Callewaert in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Melo saved Inter de São Paulo from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Jairo Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurent Rouckeloos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseu Melo. Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peter De Boeck took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Melo. Eliseu Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 74th minute Celsinho Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Bracke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Constantijn Bracke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Jairo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Bracke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Minion Mim's Constantijn Bracke got control of the ball when Gonçalo Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseu Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannis Callewaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Peter De Boeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celsinho Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de São Paulo's protests and gave Celsinho Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense.
