Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Vipos FC's Emanuel Tohias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Emanuel Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Gauargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Alonzo Patxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorgory and the Vipos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernabe Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Txindoki during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Bernabe Herensuge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Modesto Marino struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Elias Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vipos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tohias in the 40th minute of play forced Gorgory's goalkeeper Elias Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Marino in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Gorgory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Rojelio to make the kick off.
