The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eurico Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. Estevão Setúbal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Eurico Antunes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hector Frederico scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
