Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valer Barbăroșie started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Nicu Enceanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arlindo Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Ruy Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Alb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Nicu Enceanu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of MelissaMel's Arlindo Tepedino. Arlindo Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Carpathian Wolves's Valer Barbăroșie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arlindo Tepedino. Arlindo Tepedino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Ionică Alb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Lara in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Arthur Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MelissaMel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 34 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Steriopol. In the 39th minute Andrei Encuțescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Arlindo Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nicu Enceanu sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruy Lara made a kick off. If Valer Barbăroșie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guto Silveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MelissaMel! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Carpathian Wolves. Valer Barbăroșie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arlindo Tepedino. 4-1. 68 minutes into the game, Nicu Enceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpathian Wolves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MelissaMel the free kick. After 68 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Enceanu. Clemente Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Alb having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Carpathian Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Steriopol to maneuver through the defense. Valer Barbăroșie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arlindo Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Sabin Ciomag got a free kick in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionică Alb. That made the score 4-2 in the 79 minute of play. Ionică Alb didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. After 86 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Travassos. Sabin Ciomag kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the MelissaMel players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carpathian Wolves.
