Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Valer Barbăroșie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Valer Barbăroșie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Sabin Ciomag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valer Barbăroșie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Valer Barbăroșie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Garcia was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Alves in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Gustavo Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Gustavo Alves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionică Alb. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Andrei Encuțescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrei Encuțescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Ionică Alb threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustavo Alves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 85 minutes, Andrei Encuțescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathian Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Encuțescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionică Alb. That made the score 0-4 in the 87 minute of play. Claudinho Falcão might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionică Alb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Falcão ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Dracena in the 91st minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Encuțescu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Danilo Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpathian Wolves. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ceilândia Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
