After a rather tough play, Fae Folgore's Zbyszko Dynda got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes, Teofil Witek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fae Folgore and the Carpathian Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ionică Alb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Kluczyk in the 19th minute of play. Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Kazczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Wasyl Brytan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Sebastian Kluczyk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionică Alb, 1-0.
