An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Andrade in the 28th minute of play forced Fae Folgore's goalkeeper Milosz Napierkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Nestor Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Wilton Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton Rezende couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes, Carlinhos Baiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga and the Fae Folgore players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira got control of the ball when Sebastian Kluczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fae Folgore had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
