The referee ignored Lunatics of Arianrhod's protests and gave Davide Flammini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Flammini to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Paulo Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosimo Briano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ reached it. Cosimo Briano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Salles in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ferruccio Galliani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Bezerra came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunatics of Arianrhod's Alex Taraborrelli. But to his dismay, Alex Taraborrelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cosimo Briano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Silva in the 20th minute of the match. Alex Taraborrelli hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Pedro Paulo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Briano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Coccia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ernesto Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cosimo Briano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

Alex Taraborrelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ernesto Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Silva scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosimo Briano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ferruccio Coccia got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Coccia. Gugu Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cosimo Briano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Silvas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Cosimo Briano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conrado Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ercole Senatore, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cosimo Briano was a little too slow when Giuseppe da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. Ercole Senatore kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Paulo Brito broke free in the 84th minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. Cosimo Briano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Salles in the 94th minute of the match.
