Gugu Silva started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Szajk LC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tibor Lantos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brúnó Jánosi during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Jailson Gonçalves in the 16th minute really tested Álmos Simon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 30th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Vörös to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jailson Gonçalves to fire away a dangerous shot which Álmos Simon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper Álmos Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu Silva. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Károly Fülöp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Paulo Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álmos Simon having to interfere. In the 57th minute Gugu Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álmos Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álmos Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ákos Szalontai charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ákos Szalontai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ákos Szalontai hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Pedro Paulo Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álmos Simon was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 70 minutes, Jonathan Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ and the Szajk LC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Álmos Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Pedro Paulo Salles scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álmos Simon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Álmos Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álmos Simon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paulo Salles went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
