After 4 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Senatore. Álmos Simon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Taraborrelli's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Álmos Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Flammini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Ferruccio Coccia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Taraborrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álmos Simon having to interfere. Szajk LC's Álmos Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Coccia in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Fülöp in the 19th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cosimo Briano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play Lunatics of Arianrhod's Alessandro Scrima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Scrima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cosimo Briano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Károly Fülöp in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Szajk LC defense, Ferruccio Coccia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álmos Simon. The Szajk LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álmos Simon should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ferruccio Coccia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Coccia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álmos Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Szajk LC's Károly Fülöp in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Corrado Capone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Capone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álmos Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cosimo Briano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Fülöp came free, but Cosimo Briano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Szajk LC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lunatics of Arianrhod were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Coccia made a kick off. Ákos Szalontai kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Szajk LC's Álmos Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Coccia in the 56th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by György Udvari. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ferruccio Coccia took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Álmos Simon to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Taraborrelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Károly Fülöp came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Szajk LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Károly Fülöp couldn't finish the play. Cosimo Briano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Tulipán, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferruccio Coccia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Álmos Simon. That made the score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Carter Nelli's late challenge caught a Szajk LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carter Nelli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Carter Nelli got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers István Tulipán in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Briano saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ferruccio Coccia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Álmos Simon. Álmos Simon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Károly Fülöp charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Károly Fülöp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Fülöp to maneuver through the defense.
