In the 6th minute of the match, Carsten Klaasens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maximilian Skoglund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 15th minute of the match Seagulls got a corner. Real Calle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henk van Persie ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Seagulls's corner Henk van Persie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximilian Skoglund quite easily take care of the ball. Yorrick Zimmer kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Andreas Mossberg scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurjen van der Gun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andreas Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Mossberg came free, but Jurjen van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Carsten Klaasens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the Real Calle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yorrick Zimmer to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Andreas Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jurjen van der Gun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Floris Stühling hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute, Real Calle's Fredrik Lindholm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jurjen van der Gun. Jurjen van der Gun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 64 minutes into the game, Andreas Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jurjen van der Gun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Real Calle's Gustav Löfkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Vennerström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 69th playminute. When Ivan Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Calle's protests and gave Ivan Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Ivan Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Fredrik Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Calle and the Seagulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Real Calle got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Lindholm. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Andreas Mossberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jurjen van der Gun to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Mossberg got free with Jurjen van der Gun in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Seagulls's Jurjen van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Mossberg in the 83rd minute of play. Jacco Bouwman took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximilian Skoglund. Maximilian Skoglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. If Gustav Löfkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Joep Haremeijer. 91 minutes into the game, Henk van Persie threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Calle's Mikael Aronsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Real Calle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
