Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) László Medgyesi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, FC Chorchoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Kosina to maneuver through the defense. Otokar Voda came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Róbert Vajda. But to his dismay, Róbert Vajda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Gyál United's Róbert Vajda made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otokar Voda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladimír Adam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vladimír Adam came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimír Adam couldn't finish the play. Sándor Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimír Adam in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, FC Chorchoj's Herbert Konečný ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sándor Jászberényi. Sándor Jászberényi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The audience was convinced that László Medgyesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otokar Voda was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Otakar Šuráň received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sándor Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimír Adam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Róbert Tamás hit a great ball. When Milan Burián came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Burián couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ferenc Baróti hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gyál United defense, Vladimír Adam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sándor Jászberényi. The Gyál United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sándor Jászberényi should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Vladimír Adam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otokar Voda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from István Juhász in the 60th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Otokar Voda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Balázs Berta put in a rough tackle. Balázs Berta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Otakar Šuráň hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Gyál United's Zoltán Ebedli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otokar Voda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gyál United reached it. 80 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Otokar Voda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by László Medgyesi. After a rather tough play, FC Chorchoj's Josef Gál got a free kick in the 84th minute. Róbert Tamás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otokar Voda. FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erik Kohút hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Chorchoj's Otokar Voda got control of the ball when Lajos Détári tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sándor Jászberényi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimír Adam went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. FC Chorchoj were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gyál United for a fine match.
