Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseo Urti started the match with the kick off. If Eliseo Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MAN FC's Fabio Anaya got a free kick in the 4th minute. Prospero Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Matthew Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Abechuco during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oscar Abechuco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Kasey Gobey kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MAN FC's Eliseo Urti got a free kick in the 21st minute. Prospero Unax blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew Edwards having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Paolo Maura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dom Mortlock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Maura having to interfere. When Club Atlético de Newell's Alfred Barnfield in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAN FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eleuterio Senon's late challenge caught a Club Atlético de Newell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Senon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, MAN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Senon to maneuver through the defense. MAN FC's Severo Poz suffered a concussion after 41 minutes and had to leave the field. After 41 minutes, Benji Kay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético de Newell and the MAN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benji Kay hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfred Barnfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paolo Maura. That made the score 2-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Barnfield to make the kick off. If Fabio Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabio Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jonas Gaspard hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's Kasey Gobey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Prospero Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Edwards made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Prospero Unax sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes Club Atlético de Newell got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Colville. Paolo Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasey Gobey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Kasey Gobey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético de Newell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 96 played minutes MAN FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Anaya.
