Igor Lopess short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Natanael Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Salvador was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cremonese FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Cremonese FC:s Natanael Alvarenga showed great skill when he stopped Igor Lopes:s penalty. In the 13th minute, Igor Lopes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Claudinei Nogueira hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cremonese FC defense, Igor Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natanael Alvarenga. The Cremonese FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natanael Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. Caio Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natanael Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 34 played minutes Cremonese FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Koehler. In the 36th minute of the match, Igor Lopes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Natanael Alvarenga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Abelardo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Hermon to make the kick off. Nunez Bilintx hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Régis Koehler struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ricardo Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cremonese FC. Igor Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Jose Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cremonese FC booed when Moscovi Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Igor Lopes fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Natanael Alvarenga.
