Alexander Bosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Montesacro FC's Achille Malandra got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Natanael Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. If Alexander Bosco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Magalhães in the 25th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Magalhães in the 27th minute of play. Cesare Gentili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Queirós. 39 minutes into the game, Armin Anelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Filipe Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Andrézinho Magalhães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Montesacro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrézinho Magalhães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Alexander Bosco might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Bosco ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Bosco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armin Anelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Cruz having to interfere. Filipe Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Saraceni in the 54th minute of the match. Filipe Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Saraceni in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Alexander Saraceni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Cruz. Ferreira Lopes MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Saraceni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Montesacro FC from getting a goal against them. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Magalhães in the 62nd minute. Filipe Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bosco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Bosco in the 74th minute of play. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Andrézinho Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Melone didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Magalhães got free with Beppe Cannavacciuolo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bosco in the 86th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Filipe Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Alexander Saraceni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Natanael Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Monzeglio. 93 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's João Francisco Eger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
