The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the game, Doğan Üstek landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 27 minutes of play, Sarı kaya FK's Sadettin Açıkalın made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Menderes Tekdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Paranaense in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ali Faruk Serim notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of REAL VASCO RIO's Flávio de Queiroz. Flávio de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Faruk Serim in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ahmet Ozan Şendoğan sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet Ozan Şendoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Flávio de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in REAL VASCO RIO's zone, Mustafa Necati Başok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio de Queiroz came out of the goal and Mustafa Necati Başok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarı kaya FK's Menderes Tekdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Mazza in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué da Cunha in the 47th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Menderes Tekdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Mazinho Paranaense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Menderes Tekdoğan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Flávio de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edip Demirtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Mert Başarman got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st match minute, Sarı kaya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Necati Başok to maneuver through the defense. When Sarı kaya FK's Ali Faruk Serim in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Menderes Tekdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ali Faruk Serim charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Faruk Serim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Menderes Tekdoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué da Cunha in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Edip Demirtekin got a free kick in the 89th minute. Mazinho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
