To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Oalo's late challenge caught a Tetra Pack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Oalo helped the player get up and apologised. Isidoro Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fulgencio Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Ursino hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gervasio Dei was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Braulio Mateus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braulio Mateus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Prospero Fidele charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Fidele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, one of Tetra Pack FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tetra Pack FC. The referee gave Chanchos a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolando Raymond, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tetra Pack FC's Fulgencio Eskuin. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braulio Mateus was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Hunfredo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th match minute, Tetra Pack FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Fidele to maneuver through the defense. When Roman Urtzi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 90th minute, Braulio Mateus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tetra Pack FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tetra Pack FC had played much better football throughout.
