The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Manzano FC's Victorino Leheren got control of the ball when Dorival Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manzano FC's Victorino Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Quirino in the 26th minute of play. Marcelinho Donatello came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victorino Leheren could save by the left post. A collision led to FC Gustavo FPRMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kléber Tavares hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Cristo Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Gavino Emmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manzano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorival Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosme Maidana was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Tavares came free, but Victorino Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
