Egídio Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Cordaryal in the 2nd minute of play. Victorino Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Arósio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Gualter de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dante Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Manzano FC's Victorino Leheren got control of the ball when Júnior Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Dante Cordaryal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Egídio Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Tarcisio Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leões do Sul 53 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Honorio Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudinho Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 52 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Travassos. If Honorio Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manzano FC's Dante Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Manzano FC's Gavino Emmanuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egídio Reis. Egídio Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Victorino Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavino Emmanuel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egídio Reis. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Gavino Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Sena lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leões do Sul 53 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute, Honorio Oalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Oalo got free with Egídio Reis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Oalo in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Americo Todor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manzano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leões do Sul 53 the free kick. After 88 played minutes, Leões do Sul 53's Dedé Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorino Leheren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leões do Sul 53 reached it. Leões do Sul 53's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Honorio Oalo scored to the left of an out of position Egídio Reis, making the score, 1-5. In the 95th minute, Honorio Oalo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egídio Reis. The goal made the score 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Oalo in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Leões do Sul 53 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manzano FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
