Leões do Sul 53's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egídio Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes in the game André Luiz Furtado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rubens Diniz. Egídio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 11th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Egídio Reis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis got control of the ball when Alfredão Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alfredão Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Marcelinho Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Gustavo FPRMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Donatello couldn't finish the play. Paulo Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Quirino took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Reis. Egídio Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Donatello in the 38th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Egídio Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egídio Reis made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Rodrigo Quirino sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Claudinho Arósio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Quirino in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Reis saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Soeiro during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Gustavo FPRMZ booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Soeiro. Claudinho Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardinho Britto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Bernardo Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Felipe Tande made a huge save. After 77 played minutes Tarcisio Baptista rounded FC Gustavo FPRMZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. A collision led to FC Gustavo FPRMZ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bernardinho Britto hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande got control of the ball when Bernardo Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leões do Sul 53's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
