When Robin Borglin came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Borglin couldn't finish the play. Bertil Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Stig-Arne Biörnberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joar Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Inge Algren in the 31st minute really tested Stig-Arne Biörnberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Evert Apelkvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vagnhärad IK booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Vagnhärad IK's Bertil Sjögren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Arne Biörnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Apelkvist in the 39th minute of play forced Vagnhärad IK's goalkeeper Daniel Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Robin Borglin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Lind was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Vagnhärad IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 45th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Vagnhärad IK booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vagnhärad IK's Bernt Collin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Robin Borglin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. Evert Apelkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anselius having to interfere. Daniel Anselius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Borglin went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ghost Hunters's Stig-Arne Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Sjögren in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Robin Borglin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Anselius. The goal made the score 0-3. 79 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Sjögren came free, but Stig-Arne Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Bertil Sjögren made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Arne Biörnberg. Ghost Hunters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Bertil Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stig-Arne Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Arne Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Sjögren in the 88th minute of play. If Bertil Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Robin Borglin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ghost Hunters's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
