Gaston Aguirres short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Jim Sutton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to CamaLeones getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gaston Patxi hit a great ball. Samuel Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Sutton having to interfere. With 26 minutes on the clock, Erasmo Paulin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CamaLeones! The referee gave Manchester City a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronnie Prince, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CamaLeones's Casimiro Herauso. 0-1. When Gaston Aguirre came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the CamaLeones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Aguirre couldn't finish the play. CamaLeones's Casimiro Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Johnstone in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Amadeo Nastasio made the kick off in the second half. Jim Sutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Nastasio in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Doughty got free with Casimiro Herauso in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CamaLeones's Gaston Patxi got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, CamaLeones's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Kellaway came free, but Casimiro Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Patxi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, Manchester City's Ronnie Prince shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casimiro Herauso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester City reached it. In the 84th minute Pierre Maston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Henry Beckham. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manchester City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
